IN4ALL is an EU funded collaborative project aimed to promote the social inclusion of people with disabilities through the practice of healthy physical activity and sports. The purpose of all participating organizations is to support vulnerable groups through inclusive sport practices. The exchange of experience and good practices of each participating entity will increase the knowledge and raise awareness about the current situation of the practice of sport and physical activity in the most vulnerable groups (special focus on people with intellectual disabilities).
Aims
The aim of the project is to foster interpersonal relationships and social inclusion, to increase awareness and knowledge about the current situation, to encourage the practice of sport and physical activity among vulnerable groups as a source of health and wellbeing. The practice of sport is a fundamental part of individuals’ socialization. It provides objective and subjective well-being in different areas, such as interpersonal relationships, social inclusion and emotional well-being, respect of human rights, self-determination and physical welfare.
The main aims are:
- to identify the attitude and habits of respondents regarding their involvement in sport
- to identify relation and attitude towards people with disabilities engagement in sport
- to identify deterrent factors regarding active engagement in sport activities
- to evaluate impact of the event regarding relation and attitude towards people with disabilities engagement in sport
